Giving Back to Connecticut Communities in 2026

At A.R. Mazzotta, giving back has always been part of who we are. While staffing and recruiting are at the center of what we do, supporting the communities where we live and work is just as important. Every year, our team looks for meaningful ways to support organizations that are creating real impact across Connecticut and beyond.

One of the ways we do that is through our Annual Employee Non-Profit Donation Program. Each employee selects a cause or organization that matters personally to them, and A.R. Mazzotta makes a donation in their name. The program gives our team the opportunity to support causes they genuinely care about while helping organizations continue the important work they do every day.

Our 2026 Employee Donation Program highlighted a wide range of organizations supporting individuals, families, healthcare initiatives, advocacy efforts, and community programs.

Supporting Causes That Matter to Our Team

Stephanie selected New Horizons, an organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and providing critical services, advocacy, and education throughout the community. Their work helps individuals and families access safety, support, and resources during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Michael chose Middlesex United Way, an organization focused on strengthening local communities through programs that support education, financial stability, health initiatives, and essential community services across Middlesex County.

Alexus selected YoungLives, a mentorship-focused organization that supports young mothers by providing guidance, encouragement, and community connections designed to help them build strong futures for themselves and their children.

Jessica chose High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, an organization that uses equine-assisted services to support children and adults with physical, emotional, and developmental challenges. Their programs help individuals build confidence, strength, independence, and connection.

Sherry selected Closer to Free, an initiative that supports cancer care, research, and patient services through Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center. The organization continues to make a meaningful impact on patients and families throughout Connecticut.

Robin chose DS ACT Advocacy Avengers, a program focused on advocacy, inclusion, and support for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Their work helps amplify voices, expand awareness, and strengthen opportunities for the community they serve.

A Broader Commitment to Community Support

In addition to our employee donation program, A.R. Mazzotta supports organizations and initiatives throughout the year through sponsorships, partnerships, and charitable giving.

Some of the organizations we proudly support include:

  • IMPACT (formerly MARC)
  • Middlesex Health Women’s Wellness
  • The Rockfall Foundation
  • Middlesex YMCA

We also continue our Annual Company Matching Campaign with United Way, where A.R. Mazzotta matches employee donations dollar for dollar during the holiday season. This tradition allows our team to collectively support programs that make a meaningful difference throughout our local communities.

Building Stronger Communities Together

Staffing is ultimately about people, relationships, and supporting growth. That mindset extends beyond the workplace and into the communities we serve every day.

We are proud of our team for the causes they continue to champion and grateful for the organizations working tirelessly to create positive change across Connecticut. Supporting these efforts is one small way we can help strengthen the communities that have supported us for so many years.

At A.R. Mazzotta, giving back is not just something we do once a year. It is part of the culture we continue to build together.
