Last month, the CT Mirror reported over 400 business leaders gathered for the CBIA’s annual economic outlook summit in Hartford. Economy experts shared that Connecticut is poised for strong growth, but warned that a risk of recession by mid-2020 exists.
CBIA economist Peter Gioia shared that CT added over 23,000 jobs this year, and more than 20,000 are waiting to be filled. Gioia also stated these are good-paying jobs – many of which are in the manufacturing, construction, and financial services sectors.
